If you didn't know, tonight Knitique is open until 8pm. The fabulous Teresa will be here to see to your every need. Come join the fun, and see what's new.

Speaking of New:

Lots of New Books.... I'll post an entry in the next day of two with a few of the new ones.

This gorgeous yarn is Sierra from Cascade Yarns
This yarn is a blend of 80% Pima Cotton and 20% Merino Wool, as with most of the Cascade line it's made in Peru. There are a generous 191 yds/100 gram ball. It knits up at a worsted weight gauge of 5 stitches per 1 inch on US 7 needles. This is our second shipment of the yarn. We've brought in all new colors. Cost is $8.75 a skein. We've written a great Preemie or car seat size blanket pattern. Free with a purchase of yarn. It also is the perfect gauge for Green Gables or the Shapely Tank or Shapely Tee if you prefer sleeves. One of the best things about the yarn is it's Handwash or machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry or tumble dry low heat. Come see what the hypes all about with this lovely staple yarn.
