Please join us for our annual FREE Thanksgiving Week Classes. We've got three delicious classes, perfect to learn a new technique or two. Only 34 days till Christmas! We have a few ideas for quick and easy knits. All of our turkey day classes are quick scarves to make as gifts. We also have a new scarf called Jerseylicious. This scarf is scrumptous tone on tone color using one skein of waterlilly and two skeins of Tonalita by Trendsetter yarn. This scarf is gorgeous wrapped as a cowl using a shawl pin. 39 Knitting Days until the Holidays

Quick Holiday Knit Project

Did you know there are only 39 days until Christmas? As a knitter this could strike terror in my heart as I'm contemplating all the gifts I still need to knit.

This year, I'm starting a new tradition. Each week I will be posting a project that will be perfect for the holidays. Plus it will take less than a night to knit, in fact this scarf takes only an hour or so. First up, easy, and yes people, I mean easy-peasy pumpkin-peasy scarves. If all you know how to do is knit, then you can do this scarf. The yarn is a plush microfiber. It's one of the scarves that were all the rage in Europe. What better way to finish a project then to knit it in an hour. You'll need 2-3 skeins of yarn and Size 10 & 13 needles.

We've got a new shipment in. So come on in this week, grab your yarn, bring your needles, and I'll even supply the pattern for FREE. Come sit and knit with us and get a real jump on this crowd-pleasing scarf.

Fruit Fancy Sweater

Create a Figure Flattering Sweater

     Have you wanted to knit a sweater, but think it's too hard? This new sweater, is a figure flattering v-neck top down sweater. The latest sweater class for this month is called Persimmon. If you want to learn how to shape a sweater to fit your body then this is the class for you! We are using worsted weight yarn. Waterlily from Classic Elite is a great one to choose. Waterlily has great tone on tone color for the stockinette portion of sweater. Call and sign up for the first class this Friday November 12th from 6 to 8pm. Drum Roll Please, The First Turkey Day Class is Released

Thanksgiving Week Free Class #1

Thanksgiving Week Class number one is out and has been a real crowd please!! The yarn is fabulous and made out of different fibers such as silk, mohair, cashmere, merino, and glitz. This diagonal knit scarf and used two skeins of yarn. There are a wide range of colors from deep purple, moss green, midnight blue, denim blue, hot pink and many, many more. We just received a huge box of this yarn today. This scarf is going to be this season's hot holiday scarf. This class will take place on Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 10-12pm. The Tuesday class already filled up so be sure to call Knitique at 916 714 7719 to reserve your spot now.

Knit and Nosh is this Friday, Nov 5th 5-9pm

Just a gentle reminder that this Friday night is Knit and Nosh is this Friday, November 5th from 5-9pm. This is our monthly social event, where we bring all bring a dish to share, a fun easy project to knit on and a need for some social time.

This Saturday, we've also got a FREE washcloth class. I designed a perfect, LITTLE washcloth, perfect for washing your face. I wanted this one to be small so you wouldn't have dripping all over your face. Plus they are tiny enough that you can do one for each of your friends, for a little Christmas Present. Amiee had already done 3 in a day or so. Easy, peasy. This washcloth class is scheduled Saturday, November 6th 3-5. I knit mine on a size 5 needle, but be sure to bring a variety of needles so you can get the right gauge for the project. Be sure to call Knitique at 916.714.7719 to reserve your spot.

Come One Come All!!!

Late night knitting is upon us again this week!! Bring all those UFO's that have been hanging around your closet to finish. Once again, we've got FREE classes Thanksgiving week. Each week we will release the photo of the project as well as the times the class will be available. We will be offering a minimum of 3 different projects and possibly 4. I did note on the schedule that there are 2 classes scheduled for Thanksgiving week. We will NOT be open on Thanksgiving. We will be puttting a new schedule with this change up as soon as possible.
