Free Class! Holiday Magic Scarf

FREE fun class this weekend

     We would love to invite you this weekend for a fun FREE class.  This super simple classic cowl is perfect for the breezy weather we've been having.  Either do it out of a fingering weight or I'm using a dk weight cotton blend to make the cowl even faster..  Perfect for our summers.  Classes are Saturday May 4th 3-5pm or Sunday May 5th 2-4pm.  Please give us a call at 916.947.1463 to reserve your spot.  We expect they will fill up.

This book boasts "the only instructions you'll ever need to knit sweaters that make you look good and feel great." No matter what size you are, you need this book! This is exciting! Classic Elite Yarns is having a knit along with their fabulous book Shawls, Wraps, & Scarves. We just ordered more copies this morning so we will be ready for this exciting event. Big Leaf Cardigan

 

I was so excited to discover this sweater while at the spring TNNA show in Long Beach. It’s not often that you can find a sweater that looks good on most body shapes.

We would love for you to join us for our upcoming Big Leaf Cardigan Class.  It is both super quick to knit, and figure flattering.

This beautiful spring sweater is going to be a staple in your wardrobe.  It will knit up so fast you’ll feel like you knitted a hat!

Do you still Dream in Color?

     The first 2013 Dream in Color Club kit for January is the Ichigo Tam, a simple, classic tam that’s designed to complement the November Dream in Color Club colorway (we have 4 November kits available)

     The January yarn is Perfectly Posh, a buttery-soft three-ply yarn that’s 70 percent wool, 10 percent cashmere, 10 percent silk and 10 percent kid mohair. There are 360 yards in each 100-gram skein of this sport-weight yarn, which costs $39.99 per kit which also includes the pattern.

       Availability is first-come, first-served, stop by the boutique or call us with a card to reserve your yarn and pattern. Once it’s gone, the yarn won’t be available again.

     When the yarn came in yesterday, everyone was drooling over it.  I'm not sure if I'll be knitting the Tam, I definitely see a hat, and perhaps fingerless gloves for mine.  I know Anna said the yarn speaks to her to make it into a shawl.  Whatever your knitting desires, this luscious limited yarn will surely speak to you.

Turkey Day Classes 2012

It is once again time for Turkey Day Classes here at Knitique. As always, these are free classes.

First in the line up is the School Spirit hat knit with a chunky weight yarn, for a quick knit. The yarn comes in lots of fabulous "team" colors. Our hat is in UC Santa Barbara, Elk Grove High, and Cal Berkeley colors. Make your favorite sports fan one of these for Christmas and they will cherish it for years to come.
