A crochet hat everyone will love!

 

A simple herringbone stitch and faux ribs combine in the Rose Garden Slouch to make a hat that is stylish, simple, and great for gift giving. The perfect first sweater.

Perfect first sweater project. Created with sport weight yarn and knit in simple garter stitch. The sweater has a boatneck neckline, with a one button closure in the back to allow easy dressing. Each side is knit in one piece, and a three needle bind off is used to secure the shoulders to each other. Two little seams on each side finish up the sweater. They knit up in no time. Every Fall we have customers eagerly awaiting our Holiday All Skills Special. We do this special to encourage you to learn new skills, finish older projects, and get a jump on all the Holiday Knitting on your list.

Here's how it works. Pick one of our All Skills Dates. We offer them on Wednesday 12-2pm, 4-6pm and 6-8pm, Thursdays 11-1pm* or 6-8pm, Fridays 12-2pm and Sundays 12-2pm*. For the next 3 months, October, November and December you take your weekly class. If you need to miss a class, no problem. You can do a make up in another time slot.

Creativity is intelligence having fun!

We’ve already had an amazing response to our Holiday All Skills Special. Many of you have already signed up and some of you have had a few questions. We wanted to take a moment and answer a few of those for everyone.

Can I come to any class time I want whenever I want?
- When you sign up for All Skills you need to choose what day and time you would like to regularly attend.
Example: Sundays from 12-2pm

What if I miss a class? Can I just show up to another class?
- As long as you make up your class by December 31st, we encourage you to make up any class sessions you miss. Please give us a call to let us know which class session you would like to attend for your makeup. Some of the classes will be full.

Is there a specific project, or projects, that I will be learning to make?
- No, you can learn, or get help on, any project you would like.

What if I crochet? Is there an option for me?
- Yes, our Sunday 12-2pm and Thursday 11-1pm classes are taught by our crochet instructor. You can get help on knit and crochet projects during these classes.

To kick off the launch of a brand new line in our boutique, Shibui, we are excited to announce an exclusive Shibui event coming in September 2017!

Shibui yarns and patterns are designed to help knitters and crocheters of all skill levels create beautiful, wearable pieces.

The "Mix" concept focuses on combining yarns to create unique fabrics and colors. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to mix yarns to create new and exciting fabrics.
