Knitique Ladies Rock!

 Louisa Harding Charity Event

Our Louisa Harding Fund Raiser
on October 5, 2012
was a smashing success!

Drum roll please...
Event organizer Lisette Davis and
 Knitique owner Danielle Bowen
were thrilled to report
that the Knitique event raised just over
1,000 Great British Pounds
which is just over $1,600.00 US Dollars
for Macmillan Cancer Support!

Everyone agrees...
Knitique ladies rock!

Raffle Prize Winners!

The evening was filled with fun, prizes, cupcakes and
a heart-felt talk by Lisette Davis
about Louisa Harding and her Himalayan Hiking Hat story.

And, of course, there were prizes!
Thanks to the generous donations from Interweave Books
we had a fun raffle prize drawing with fabulous prizes which alone raised $168.00!

Designer Lorna Miser
& Danielle Bowen

The evening also had a special guest appearance by local Designer Lorna Miser.  Lorna and Danielle go way back to when Lorna was a hand dyer and created Lorna's Laces.
Lorna gave the ladies a special "sneak peak" at projects from her new books which are at the publishers right now.

Himalayan Hiking Hats

Knitique owner Danielle Bowen, is so proud of her Knitique customers
and how they embraced the Himalayan Hiking Hat kits and gave generously
to help Louisa's fund raising effort for
  Macmillan Cancer Support.

Stay tuned
because there is more to come!
Knitique is hosting a Silent Auction while Louisa is on her
Nepal Hike  from November 1-11, 2012
to raise more funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
