We love this yarn and it’s perfect for our California climate.

I've been hearing whispers, rumors circulating, people trying to guess what it will be.

Yes, we are definitely having our New Year's Day Sale. I figure we've got to start the year off right. In fact just this week we've received shipments of Noro Kureyon Sock Yarn, French 75 Sock Yarn, and a huge order from Alpaca Yarn Company. We've been selling it like crazy. I'm hoping there will be some left for the Sale.

All the details will be sent by email so if you aren't on our mailing list, be sure to join. I'll be emailing out the details sometime on New Year's Eve.

Remember PJ's are acceptable. Be sure to bring your knitting and stay awhile. We will be going out to lunch afterwards. Last year we had dessert first, so who knows what we'll do this year.

Hemp for Knitting



Linda D-H, has been knitting with hemp or linen for the past year. I've finally brought it in, and not a moment too soon. It is lovely, the colors are lovely. I can't wait to knit with it. We've brought in most of their pattern line. Just remember with hemp, it's much nicer after you've washed it.

We've brought in every color of the Allhemp6 DK weight
Gauge: 22 sts & 28 rows over 4 inches (10 cm)

100% Long Fiber Hemp
Hand/machine wash
Lay flat to dry

It's Just Like Costco

I've heard this phrase about a dozen times in the last few weeks as the new Spring lines keep flowing in. I thought it was rather funny sentiment, until it happened to me.

On Monday, Joann was unpacking the New Spring order from Della Q. She said as fast as she was pulling the packages out, people were buying them, even before she could get them priced. Now, all of you who know Joann, know she LOVES a fine bag. I know, whatever bags I order, Joann, will buy at least one, the funkier, the more artsy the better. She left me a sad note, asking where's her bag. Not to be deterred I reordered on Tuesday. Today, I received more, loving the new line, and earmarking one for myself. By the end of today, I have one left. By the end of class tonight, I had people who wanted more but didn't want to take the last one. You see, they know what's it's like to want to see the "new" item and it be gone. So, don't worry fairhearts... I've ordered more yet again, they should be here Monday. Want to see? As always with Della, you can count on top quality goods. Notice the knit straw on the sides, shell buckle, and silk.
